Wine Club Coordinator

Are you ready for a sparkling opportunity? We have establish Amista as the premier sparkling wine house in Dry Creek Valley. We were first to produce estate grown sparkling wines in Dry Creek made in the traditional Methode Champenoise. We continue to add sparkling wines to our portfolio of single-vineyard wines and have the perfect complement of wines for celebrating all of life's special moments.

We are looking for the a self-motivated individual that is sales and hospitality focused to cultivate relationships with our loyal Wine Club Members and grow our club. The Wine Club Coordinator is responsible for implementing practices and programs designed to achieve annual wine club goals, as well as, help plan and work at all Amista events and in the tasting room as a key contributor to tasting room sales and wine club conversion.

Amista Vineyards is a boutique winery currently making 2,600 cases, sold directly through our tasting room, wine club and web site. Amista means “making friends”, and ensuring our guests experience the friendly spirit of Amista and the pleasures of wine country living is key to our success and fundamental to our philosophy.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • One or more years successful experience growing and coordinating a vibrant customer loyalty program, preferably a wine club, with a strong track record of measurable results
  • Ability and passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Successful experience in hospitality sales
  • Professional, friendly and positive demeanor and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of business metrics
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision
  • Takes ownership in managing all aspects of the wine club
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule (Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday), including event weekends
  • Proficient in customer data base management (Vin65), Microsoft Office and web-based tools
  • At least 21 years of age and able to lift 50 pounds
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively execute wine club shipments
  • Manage all shipping transactions (transfers, returns and exceptions)
  • Creating compelling newsletters
  • Respond to all Club related questions in a positive, professional manner
  • Improve member satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain a rich and accurate data base of customer information
  • Grow the wine club and wine club sales
  • Work in the tasting room and at Amista events
  • Manage A/R (i.e. decline/expired cards)

Hourly DOE + Incentives
