Aromas of raspberry coulis, vanilla bean, marzipan, sandalwood, a touch of black pepper, and richly scented rose petals fill the nose. The palate is fruit driven and lush with a good kick from the fortification but balance coming in terms of fruity sweetness and a great acidity. Definitely a great finisher to any evening!

This very unique port-style wine comes together using a blend from the best vintages and the best of our vineyards. To make the port, we first start by tasting and picking the grapes at a normal sugar level (about 25 brix). We ferment the Zinfandel, Syrah and Mourvèdre separately and when each varietal gets to the desired finishing sugar level (about 6%), we add brandy to stop the fermentation and leave a wine balanced in sugar, acidity, tannin, and acid.
