Our favorite Amista wine is the new Sparkling Grenache.  We always have a good varied supply of Amista sparkling wines, but the last time we were in California and we tasted the new Grenache, we discovered that the bar had been raised yet again.

We became members when someone at another Sonoma winery recommended Amista sparkling wines. We decided to pursue the recommendation and after trying some of the sparkling wines, we got hooked.  Before this, another winery was our winery of choice for sparkling wine, but on that day, we became Amista sparkling wine club members and have not looked back since.  Molly and I like to find restaurants in San Antonio and surrounding areas that have a corkage fee, so that we can enjoy our meals with incredible Amista sparkling wines.

Our favorite Amista memory is from our last visit, when we got to meet the owners and winemaker. We were there visiting with another couple from Texas.  It was Passport weekend 2018, but we were not participating. In spite of this, Amista folks rolled out the red carpet for us and we had a wonderful time.
