March Amista Friends of the Month Newsletter!

Here at Amista, we take the time to honor our Wine Club members as each and every one continue to stay passionate about our wines.  We love to hear their stories of sharing with friends and family.

These are Club Members who we have special relationships with, and who visit us from near and far!  Once a month we feature Amista Friends of the Month in our monthly newsletter.  In accepting this invitation, they receive additional benefits... such as extra savings on wine, food pairings, and other treats during the month.  We do this every month, and reach out to Club Members asking if they would like to participate.  Keep an eye out in your inbox to see if you have been nominated by our Wine Club Coordinator!

For the month of March, we are excited to be featuring Ted and Mary Sue  who live in Michigan and have been members of our Golden Circle since 2014!

We appreciate their continued passion and loyalty to our wines. Below is their story!

Becoming a Member

Ted and I were on a weekend trip in Napa and Sonoma, touring many different wineries. It was a very rainy Sunday, and we stumbled upon Amista. We were extremely impressed with the wines, the atmosphere (I still want that bear painting!) and the friendliness of everyone! These were definitely some of our favorite wines from our trip! When we learned that Amista was a smaller production winery, we knew we had to sign up for the wine club so that we could continue to enjoy our favorites.

Favorite Amista Wine:

Our favorite Amista wine is the Rockpile Cabernet it's well-made, well-balanced, not overly fruity and goes very well with food.

Favorite Food Pairing:
We enjoy the Rockpile Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah paired with a NY strip or Ribeye steak, cooked medium rare, either sous-vide or grilled. The key to making the steak perfect is salting it overnight!
