June Amista Friends of the Month Newsletter!

Here at Amista we want to thank all of our Club Members for supporting us this year. We would like to take the time to honor our Wine Club members as each and every one continue to stay passionate about our wines.  We love to hear their stories of sharing with friends and family.

These are Club Members who we have special relationships with, and who visit us from near and far!  Once a month we feature Amista Friends of the Month in our monthly newsletter.  In accepting this invitation, they receive additional benefits... such as extra savings on wine, food pairings, and other treats during the month.  We do this every month, and reach out to Club Members asking if they would like to participate.  Keep an eye out in your inbox to see if you have been nominated by our Wine Club Manager!

For the month of June, we are featuring Alan and Vicki who live in Santa Rosa, California! They've been members since 2015.

We appreciate his continued passion and loyalty to our wines. Below is his story!

Becoming Members at Amista:

We’ve been members at Amista since 2015. We live locally and love coming out for a relaxing afternoon. The laid-back and friendly atmosphere paired with the great wine has kept us coming back for years, nearly every time we go wine tasting we end up at Amista. Vicki’s daughter, Alex, has recently started working in the Tasting Room so it’s been especially nice getting to see her when we come to taste. The environment has always been so welcoming, it really is a perfect slice of Dry Creek Valley.

Our Favorite Amista Memory:

Our favorite Amista memory was the Dinner in the Vineyard back in 2019. The setting was beautiful, and the food was phenomenal, but it was the company that made it so enjoyable. And we cannot wait for Pizza Sundays to start up again!

Our Favorite Amista Wine Pairing:

Our favorite Amista wine is the 2015 Zinfandel. We stocked up as much as we could, but now we only open it for special dinners and celebrations. For this ragu recipe we have recently been using the 2017 Zinfandel, but any vintage of the Rockpile Cabernet is a great addition as well. It’s adapted from Food52’s recipe for Short Rib Ragu.
