This is a beautiful vintage for Chardonnay. Aromas of white peach, jasmine blossom, Asian pear, and Kaffir lime zest make up the nose. The palate is lilting, and fruit driven. Stone fruit dominates with hints of lemon. The finish is refreshing and balanced, full with plenty of acidity. Definitely a wine to pair with food and truly delicious on its own as well.

Vineyard Notes
2019 was a very warm but beautiful vintage. Bud break was slightly delayed with cooler spring temperatures, which in turn delayed harvest by about two weeks on average. The additional hang time into fall allowed for a deep development of flavors in the finished wines.
Winemaker Notes
We picked our Chardonnay grapes by hand starting at daybreak and hand sorted in the vineyard. From the vineyard the grapes went directly to the winery and into the press. The juice went straight from the press into neutral French oak barrels for a three-week fermentation. After fermentation, the barrels were topped up and left on primary lees for the duration of its life until bottling. After 11 months in barrel, the barrels were combined into a tank and bottled.
