This delicate rosé is a beautiful color, like a pink ballet slipper. Made from 100% Grenache, its flavors of pink grapefruit and bright acidity make this wine sing - solo or paired with a wide array of foods like linguine con pesto or melon and prosciutto.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
I love the color of this wine which reminds me of a pink ballet slipper. The aromas are of hibiscus, lemon verbena, honeydew melon and brûléed pink grapefruit. Pink grapefruit dominates on the palate and lets the acidity and balance of the wine shine. This is absolutely delicious!
Vineyard Notes
2021 started by being a quite dry vintage. We had very little rainfall in the winter though we did have cold spring temperatures which gave us relatively normal budbreak timing. Some mid-spring frosts occurred but we were lucky to not have our blocks affected. The most challenging part of the vintage was the very low crop set across almost all of our vineyards and blocks. The cold winter and spring led to a moderate and very nice summer with lots of foggy mornings. While the low yields were challenging in the vineyard, they led to amazingly concentrated wines with layers of depth.
Winemaker Notes
This Rosé comes from clone 515, which is one of our newer plantings of Grenache. We picked this Grenache in the early morning hours in early September and brought it to the winery super cold. From there, it went whole cluster into the press and then directly to barrels to ferment. We fermented this with a bit of yeast from our red Grenache fermentation and it fermented slow and cold for about three weeks. After 4 months of resting in neutral barrels, we bottled.
