Summer can begin! The 2022 Rosé of Grenache has arrived, and just in time for those warm days by the pool, on the porch or enjoying the patio. This vintage is limited to just 4 barrels of delicate, floral crisp Grenache, hand harvested late August 2022 from our younger blocks of Grenache on Morningsong Vineyard. This wine is a beautiful pale pink, ballet slipper color. The aromas are of ripe apricot, fresh picked strawberries, yellow nectarine, and yellow rose petals. The palate is also very fruit driven with creamy apricot and strawberry notes. The finish is balanced and bright with great acidity. This is the perfect wine for summer!

Tasting Notes
Our 2022 Rose of Grenache is a beautiful pale pink, ballet slipper color. The aromas are of ripe apricot, fresh picked strawberries, yellow nectarine, and yellow rose petals. The palate is also very fruit driven with creamy apricot and strawberry notes. The finish is balanced and bright with great acidity. This is the perfect wine for summer!
Vineyard Notes
This comes from our estate vineyard, Morngingsong Vineyard. This comes from a newer planting in the vineyard and is all Clone 362.
Winemaker Notes
We picked our Grenache for Rose in the early morning hours and brought it straight to the winery for foot treading to get the juice into contact with the skins of the grapes. We let it sit for three hours before being pressed directly into stainless steel drums. We fermented to dryness and then racked off the sediment and chilled down until we were ready to go to bottle.
