This is another beautiful vintage of one of our favorite wines, with characteristic aromas of orange zest along with all-spice, Bing cherry, black pepper, and a hint of clove. The palate is full of coffee, dark chocolate, purple fruits and tons of spice. The finish lingers on the palate. This will be a delicious food wine, especially with anything coming off the barbecue.

Vineyard Notes
2019 was a very warm but beautiful vintage. Bud break was slightly delayed with cooler spring temperatures, which in turn delayed harvest by about two weeks on average. The additional hang time into fall allowed for a deep development of flavors in the finished wines.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes for our Tres blend were picked, fermented and aged separately. We picked each variety by hand, sorted by hand, then de-stemmed and gently crushed each lot. Each of the varieties was fermented in a stainless steel open top tank, cold soaked for 3-5 days then inoculated and punched down 2 times per day. After fermentation, the wines were put to neutral oak barrels and aged for 15 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
