Favorite Wine:
Our favorite wine - Amista Rockpile Cabernet. Why? .... it has a bold and smooth taste and goes well with our favorite meal - steak and pasta.
Becoming Members:
Rick and I moved up to Santa Rosa from San Jose back in 2008 (before kids!). We didn't know a lot of people initially and so we spent our first few months touring Dry Creek Valley and becoming "self-proclaimed" wine connoisseurs. We joined Amista on our very first visit - the delicious wines coupled with the warm, inviting staff really made us feel at home. Vicki was there that day and came out of the back office to greet us and chit chat. We loved our visit and knew that we had to become members. It was our very first wine club!
Favorite Memory:
We have many great memories at the winery, but one that will always stick out for us is when Vicki and staff helped us plan out the perfect engagement for Rick's cousin (who of course become a member as well). Amista had a beautiful table set up outside by the vineyards and arranged for privacy for Bryce, Rick's cousin, to surprise his bride to be with a very romantic proposal. ... followed by a toast of Amista Sparkling for everyone. It was a very special day.
