July Amista Friends of the Month Newsletter!

Here at Amista we want to thank all of our Club Members for supporting us this year. We would like to take the time to honor our Wine Club members as each and every one continue to stay passionate about our wines. We love to hear their stories of sharing with friends and family.

These are Club Members who we have special relationships with, and who visit us from near and far! Once a month we feature Amista Friends of the Month in our monthly newsletter. In accepting this invitation, they receive additional benefits... such as extra savings on wine, food pairings, and other treats during the month. We do this every month, and reach out to Club Members asking if they would like to participate. Keep an eye out in your inbox to see if you have been nominated by our Wine Club Manager!

For the month of June, we are featuring Kevin and Lorraine who live in Long Valley, New Jersey! They've been members since 2006.

We appreciate their continued passion and loyalty to our wines. Below is his story!

Becoming Members at Amista:

We met Mike and Vicky in New Jersey many years ago. We were so excited to come and visit at the winery. Our first trip was 2006 and we learned so much about wines and the winemaking process. Mike and Vicky and the entire staff at Amista have always made us feel so welcome! We are excited to be going back in the Fall with some new friends! We have enjoyed so many things over the years at Amista - fabulous wines, events, dinners, good friends, and conversations!

Our Favorite Amista Memory:

One year we had a dinner party at the vineyard. We hired a chef to come make pizzas in the brick oven and we enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Zinfandel. We still talk about all the fun we had with Mike and Vicky that evening! Such wonderful people.

Our Favorite Amista Wine Pairing:

Our favorite Amista wine is the Rockpile Cabernet and the Gene’s Block Zinfandel. We have made Mike’s famous short rib recipe with Syrah that was in one of the wine shipment newsletters (also saw it in a local Sonoma cookbook). We can always find an Amista wine to go perfectly with any food. I love to see the smile on our friends faces when we give them a choice of wines and they say, “let’s try the Amista” - it is always the perfect choice.
