August Amista Friend of the Month Newsletter!

Here at Amista, we take the time to honor our Wine Club members as each and every one continue to stay passionate about our wines.  We love to hear their stories of sharing with friends and family.  

These are Club Members who we have special relationships with, and who visit us from near and far!  Once a month we feature Amista Friends of the Month in our monthly newsletter. In accepting this invitation, they receive additional benefits... such as extra savings on wine, food pairings, and other treats during the month. We do this every month, and reach out to Club Members asking if they would like to participate. Keep an eye out in your inbox to see if you have been nominated by our Wine Club Coordinator!

For the month of August, we are featuring Rachel who lives in San Francisco, CA. Rachel has been part of our Circle of Friends and Sparkling Add-on Clubs since 2016.
 
We appreciate her continued passion and loyalty to our wines. Below is her story!
 

Favorite Wine and Becoming a Member:

Hard to choose! My favorite wine is the 2016 Tres as it has such a great balance and depth of flavor. It pairs well with just about any meal, or it is very drinkable on its own. I joined Amista after finding it on the Wine and Food Affair. My roommate Kristen and I both went with our respective parents who were visiting, and each went to 10+ different places. Afterwards when we compared our favorites, Amista was at the top of both of our lists. As we share our wines, it was a no brainier to join the wine club.


Favorite Amista Memory:

One of our favorite experiences was when we recently came to Amista in June, as it was our first experience outside of the city since quarantine. It was such a breath of fresh air to be sipping on some Sparkling Grenache overlooking the vineyards on the gorgeous new patio. The staff were, as always, so welcoming and we felt right at home.
 

Favorite  Food Pairing:

With the Sparkling Grenache, we love to pair it with a summer salad.
Recipe:
2 ripe peaches
1 pint blueberries
3 heirloom tomatoes
2 avocados
Burrata
Poppyseed dressing
Serve over a bed of arugula and sprinkle with fresh basil and a good aged balsamic.
